Wayne Miller will be hosting this glorious evening of new music. A native of Staten Island, Mr. Miller is an actor and singer with stage, film and television credits. He has appeared regionally in musical roles diverse as Julian Marsh in 42nd Street, Georges in La Cage Aux Folles, Juan Peron in Evita, Mack Sennett in Jerry Herman’s Mack and Mabel, Warbucks in Annie, Billy Flynn in Chicago, and Ben Stone in Stephen Sondheim’s Follies.
In addition to musical theatre, he has appeared as a featured vocalist in both pop and symphonic concerts, concert stagings of My Fair Lady and Guys and Dolls and can be heard on concept recordings for the new musicals Oh Pioneers, Platinum Taps, and The Blue Angel.
On non-musical stages he recently created the role of Ben Franklin in the new play Strange Bedfellows by fellow Staten Islander Jason Boies, and has been seen as Max Prince in Laughter on the 23rd Floor, Gene Glimmer in Sideman, Serge in Art, and Joe Keller in All My Sons.
He has appeared on the daytime television drama, The Guiding Light and for 10 years has been the host of Time Warner Cable’s academic game show, Cranial Crunch.
He is married to Donna D’Ermilio, a pianist, conductor and arranger. They occasionally appear together in cabaret and in productions of A.R. Gurney’s Love Letters.
